Hey everyone. I recently bought a ba xr6t auto and modded it at home to get a tune. Mods I did was

Walbro 255

Valve springs + timing chain

K&n panel filter

Gutted cat

Trans cooler

Venom cat back/ wit muffler delete

And installed some evo X injectors.

I road tuned it on HP with a mate and maxed the wastegate running 16psi tapering down to 15psi and left it at 90% W/duty cycle as upping the wg duty did nothing anyways. Timing is great no knock and I left afrs at 11 to be safe.

Now, my question is what sort of power do these things make on 15-16psi? Im asking cos I have no intention of using a dyno lol. It's quick I'm happy with it and it spins on eagle f1s.... Just curious as what it should be.

Mine made 277rwkw  @ 15.5psi with plenty more done to it then urs has!

Though some with less mods then mine have seen 340-360rwkw.

How many KM?

Mine was done with HP on a dyno also.

Though I go in tomorrow to get a re-tune...ill report back with results.

Should be interesting  Krazy,

Not going to push it past 16psi on 98... but mite with E85.

Hoping to see 310-330rkw on 98 more is a plus :)

Those injectors are said to be 650cc so won't be limiting you.  My car runs 42lb (440CC I think) and is at the limit of injectors at 15PSI and laid down about 320rwkw/11.9 second 1/4.

Not upgrading the intercooler will hurt you though.  Heatsoak will kill the fun if you give it some repeated runs but it should be good for the odd squirt here or there especially in winter.

If you run it too rich it can kill 02 sensors I've heard so watch out.  Cat's not a problem in your case :)

I have a Plaz 1000hp cooler on mine... cost 2k plus fitting... though im sure u are fitting lol

Its over kill really... could get smaller for less and see the same results on a pretty stock ba

If you look around you can get a good deal on the intercooler. I recently purchased and fitted the 1000hp Plaz cooler and process west throttle relo for $1200 second hand. By changing these things alone, the tuner was able to get an extra 50rwkw out of it. Sounds like a load of baloney but its true. I had an old rapid systems intercooler before which had smaller intercooler piping.
