Welcome mate.

A few question first

what state you living in?

why didn't you get a N/A to start with?

What were your parents thinking? 17 year old male with a T.......no thanks.

If I was you I would of got a N/A drive it for the 3 years and once off your P's sell the N/A and get a T. In the 3 years whilst on your P's the price of FG's would have dropped even more and you could pick up a cheap FG Turbo.

Lets us know of location and we can point you in the direction and best places and contacts.

Remove turbo badge as said, make sure intercooler is painted black and drive it slowly.

Then have a prang and find your insurance company saying "I'm outa here m8" (hopefully doesn't happen).

Oh and get it registered under mums name if you going to drive it around.

I sure remember how I drove my BA on p plates, hopefully you don't plan on coming home on a new set of rear tyres every few days haha

I reckon then your best bet might be to grab a cheap n/a BA and drive that. Sourcing n/a bits and getting the car functional would be at least as expensive and a major pain.

That way any upgrades you do spend on in terms of wheels, audio, etc can be transferred to the T later too.
