I prefer low mount for a street car purely for the steathier look I hear you on materail cost but as mentioned time is the killer for me. Noisy/Hot/Dusty projects are on hold till my boy are a bit older, then I'll put them to work sweat shop style. Nice work on the Jig and collector, how many times did you cut yourself on the edge of the merge?

Yeh the time spent is the a while definetly better spent with the kids. No cuts suprisingly, after they were cut in the saw put em in the vice and filed the edges smooth. I've currently got a 45mm Hypergate haning off the housing. It's to atmo at the moment but i'll shortly be plumbing it back in. It's just too loud and makes it very hard to drive the car enthuasitically on the street without drawing major attention to yourself

eff xr6t Member 569 Member For: 11y 1m 25d Posted 06/07/16 05:01 AM Share Posted 06/07/16 05:01 AM Was going to fit twin 40mm turbosmart gates but cbf with the extra effort twying to get 2 40mm screamers down there with a 4inch dump so just going to put a single 60mm turbosmart and run it divided all the way up to the gate flange. My car ATM has a 46mm precision vented to Atmo. So f@cking loud but is much fun scaring people with it lol.

My 6BOOST low mount was a better product in my opinion. Highmount and lowmount both stick out like dogs balls!!! There's no escape if the bonnet gets lifted haha. Few guys here have seen this already, but here's my entry for the loudest turbo on a Barra! Edited 06/07/16 10:07 AM by IH8TOADS
