I ended up getting one from herrod but its exactly the same size as mine is and now I look at it it looks like some has tried drilling mine already 

 

the herrod one is no where near the size of the high flow one posted up above

from a quick web search it looks like some of the audi/volksy 5bar regs are the same outlet size with similar o-ring colors etc.

How much of this problem is the return orifice on the MRA vs the reg? How much of this problem is the return orifice on the MRA vs the reg?  AFAIU the factory MRA is also a pinch point for return flow.

 

Sorry for the thread mine but it's an informative thread and I wanted to clear this up.

I had to drill out the return in the MRA unit to get my fuel pressure to drop on idle, the stock fuel pressure reg doesn't help either as previously posted. There's a steel collar in the return hose that has to be drilled out or removed.
