Not travelling across the continent though. Plus I need a full respray first so not really wise. But again, full marks, they've done a fantastic job. I think Ol' Ralphy was inferring that a chamois is technically not best for wiping down a fresh-washed car. I believe microfibre towels are the in thing. Will rip out the interior soon and start trying to make it a little nicer inside the cabin. $500 worth of sound deadening

Is it needed to block out the sound of Excel horns behind you? Edited 02/05/16 05:20 AM by -Stever-

I pulled the interior apart and installed so me more sound deadening. Started like this pulled out some more stuff. note to newbies. dont pull out the center console unless you HAVE to. pain in the ass I have installed some before... but wanted more. this was a previous effort I wanted to install the Dynapad on the floor, but there is already some molded padding there. although the dynapad may be better, wasnt keen on ripping out the standard stuff that was already molded and decently thick decided to go onto the rear speakers. I had these installed by an audio place in Perth. Not overly excited by the install but I guess it did the job at the time. One day I would like to make up some MDF/molded brackets that point them forward rather than towards the rear. this may answer your speaker questions @Boganspeed, ideally should have a bracket or something to fit 6x9's, otherwise will need cutting. So I installed Dynamat all through the internal pillar then used some spray adhesive to hold up the Dynapad. also put some Dynamat on the inner skin around the speaker hole. (I did both sides, but didnt see the point of doubling the photos.. And BTW, anyone know what the little thing on the wall on the bottom right with the wires connected to it). was al little disappointed when I saw this, the amp is 6 inches away, the speaker maybe another foot the other direction (under the passenger seat to the rear passenger speaker), and they decided to join the speaker wire in stead of running a new bit of wire. would have cost a dollar to do,,.... and I double matted the rear wall. also turns out the "new" Dynamat is black. gave it a tap and seems to sound better.... will find out tomorrow when I take it for a spin.
