What a mysterious little plug into the side of the car.  Can't just be a chassis ground wire can it?  What's on the other end?  Maybe it's a plug they use to connect other things to when you can afford to buy an entire car.

Maybe an unused sunroof plug?

Had a suspension check done last week... Didnt really find anything wrong. part of me was hoping they would, as id like to improve the front end and would have given me something to blame about why its not better....

Dude just get rid of the saddle bush completely along with the plates that sit around the leaf pack.

It doesn't increase harshness at all imho and doesn't need any other parts to get it done.

If not at least get some metal plates made up to replace them, they only last a few thousand kms if you give it a bit.

1-2hr job in your driveway and your done.

I think that's the first ever pedders suspension check sheet without 10 things needing to be fixed :stirthepot:

I go to the same Pedders, they seem very honest and never seem to overcharge for anything. They've even not charged me for a 28 point check one time cos they didn't find anything. Also did the best price I could find for fitting of diff bushes. Not what you usually hear about Pedders eh

I was only stirring :) I know that some pedders are OK and some are not. Same with any chain/franchise style business.

I used to  use the  same pedders. I stopped after the car arrived home from a wheel alignment with a crooked steering wheel and a  "click"  in steering just past centre.

Turns out the guy that did the alignment had loosened the wheel in an effort to straighten it after the alignment, then realised the wheel to column is a tapered square so it only fits in 90deg increments.

He forgot to re tension the bolt securing the wheel.

I could live with that as it took less than a turn to be tight back up to spec.

What pissed me off was a a flat out denial that they where involved in the wheel being  loose.

I rang them and gave them the heads up as it wasn't the usual guy that did my alignments but they where not interested. I wasn't expecting anything from them either.

Pretty sad as id been going there for a long time and had spent a decent amount of coin there and recommended others go there as well.

Kyle, if you need an alignment go see Dean at tyre power tell him I sent you.

Also change to a 19 or 18 wheel and the front will improve.
