Turbo replaced but not related to problem

its load related then and probably not engine itself. check the things keify mentioned.

Does it happen at a particular speed or more noticible at a given speed. I say speed and not rpm coz im thinking tailshaft centre bearing but it's just another guess really mate without a great deal to go on

my exhaust would rattle when idling in gear. moved the rubbers around a bit and did the hose clamp trick on the rear one to lift the tip up a bit when I was doing some other stuff to the car on the weekend. been quiet since lol, didnt even set out to fix it..

Got the car diagnosed and the report was "3 diff bushes + bladearm bushes". So in the diagrams below that would be "blade control arm front kit" and would the 3 diff bushes consist of "differential pinion, bracket mount kit" (two that I can see) and "differential rear centre support kit"?

Yep, those 5 bushes are the ones the report is referring to...

 

Will replacing those 5 bushes solve your original problem? I'm doubtful...

maybe tailshaft related then? unless im blind and hes had that checked

Essentially it's because if you had all of those bushes shagged there would be a bunch of other noticeable issues...

Main rear diff bush and side diff bushes being buggered would mean a very noticeable "clunk" in the rear end on almost all "load changes" e.g. taking off from a standstill, changing gears roughly, coasting downhill.

Trailing arm bushes if they're stuffed can cause weird rear end wobbles, especially when turning, but are definitely not as noticeable as diff bush problems.
