It has just come out of warranty (on a new lease) and has $43K on the clock. But, yes usual problems with transmission mount split, idler pulley noisey, bushes, front link pins, wheel bearings notchy, but was fixed just before the warranty ran out. Allow some money to fix these issues on a second hand model and would be in a happy place. They are a great car, good looking, great performance, but ford seems not to have fixed the usual issues after all these years... Thinking of selling, but what to buy to replace the positives of a G6ET!

Arent they both street cars?. I should have clarified the fact that I will be doing not too heavy mods to try and keep it as a daily driver. Im thinking 350 - 380RWKW. Btw, what do you drive now and why'd you get rid of the Boganmobile?

If you ever find out, let me know. I'm looking at alternates as well but I just cant see any competition other than HSV. (without having to go euro of course). I could go S7 but that will set me back heaps. Would prefer not to.

Btw, what do you drive now and why'd you get rid of the Boganmobile? I mean that having bulk power for a daily street car isn't as (easily) enjoyable as a more refined interior, better handling, better tech and accessories. Sure it's fun, but 99% of the time I'm driving my current car it's not so much the power I miss, it's all the other nice bits. I actually had a really crappy debt situation with my other cars and work wasn't looking too promising so I sold up, paid out all my debts and bought what I could pay cash for...so now I drive a Honda Accord Euro and am saving for a house. It's slow and I don't find it exciting to drive...but it's cheap, reliable and has enough of the luxuries (especially since putting in an aftermarket stereo) that I don't mind driving it. Plus I'm not tempted to blow money on mods, coz it's not worth it...so it's serving its purpose.

Doesn't really matter what you drive long as it gets ya from A-B. You must be enjoying the fuel economy the honda delivers.
