FG F6 Ute vs FG XR6T ute

if you go a xr 5-6k will max out the turbo easily will be a handful depending on how aggressive tune you go. (get good sticky tyres) 

 

go the F6, turbo will be good for more power. (trust us you will get the power bug) 

 

I bought a xr as that's all I could afford. ended up, upgrading turbo anyways hahah (I got the power bug :(

That tells me the buyer has the 10k to buy the F6, thus buying the XR6T saves him 10k, in turn giving him 10k + the 5-6k on mods to spend. 

 

The F6 has the badge, leather seats, a bigger turbo, and an annoying start button in the console.

And don't forget people have run a ten second quarter on the "little" turbo of the FG XR6T.  I believe it was on E85 fuel however (and auto of course)

 

Max out the FG XR6T turbo with a good intercooler, exhaust, fuel pump and injectors and you have a seriously quick car even on 98RON fuel.

 

 

I'd love to own an FPV though, they are quite rare compared to HSVs and XR6Ts, as mentioned.  I should have kept saving but at the time they were an extra 20k for a low kms model and I couldn't wait that long.  BF series for me though over FG.
