Hmmmm

A Tuner is a tuner

An Engine is a engine.

The tuner might be good but if the engine isn't up to the task it's just a matter of time till things go pop.!!!

Ya might be lucky in a game of Russian roulette but ya definitely don't want to unlucky in that sort of game "BANG"!!

But surely the tuner would tell somebody that their motors probably going to go bang, given that it's not 'habibs tunes and kebabs' written on the dyno sheet.

Enter at your risk sought of theory that's for sure. First  thing they should be asking is it a built motor or stock. And how many km's has it done. It can be done with a easy ramping on the curve but there still is a limit to how much torque and psi the bottom end will take.

Im definitely no tuner far from it, but I'm just going on what Martin has said to me.

Hey all, just an update. The car is still running strong and the T5z box is holding up surprisingly.

Keith, this issue was there prior to the tune and it is actually related to the Torque management system. Ended up being the throttle body opening and closing slightly in gears 3 4 and 5 at higher revs.

Mate I absolutely agree that it's at your own risk. At the end of the day if things go wrong I'll  be buying a built motor and throwing that in it.
