Should have said this depends on your driving application - for some circumstances you might want the higher end DBAs, which I will likely do anyway next time.

I ended up buying DBA street series T2 rotors for the front yesterday with bendix ultimate pads. Was on sale 20% at super cheap. I dont think my spirited driving requires higher end brakes.

Which bushes do you mean?

Good stuff!

I would have thought upper inner and lower inner control arm bushes would be the key ones, but someone with more expertise might be able to confirm that.

Yeah for sure.  Also worth making sure that the ball joints are in good condition while you're at it.  You don't want them breaking while you're driving.  The top one separates and the wheel will just fold down!  Mine were bad once (could hear knocking driving over small bumps) and that was pointed out to me.

Lots of fun to be had when they let go...

So I have just spent the past 2 mornings at the exhaust shop, I had gone in to replace the broken cat one replaced the car stopped accelerating at 120 like there was a rev limit. The bloke told me to drive normal and turn the car off then on again, and check again after some time I drove for about 100klms and still the same, he then said it is a fail safe. I also went back the following morning as I had bought a factory middle and rear exhaust and had that put on, but the high flow cat and piping from engine to the middle and rear was still 3 inch it is still having the same problem now. I have also bought the factory cat and dump pipe section that I will have replaced will this solve me problem?

Thanks in advance

Could be lots of things - and sometimes when you fix something it just reveals the next most urgent problem to fix!

If you don't have a obd2 adaptor for your phone or something, I'd start by swinging past a mechanic and asking them to scan the ECU for fault codes.

Do you get other symptoms such as a check engine light?

I took the advice not to bother with the cheaper RDA rotors and I have not had a problem.  The thing that really fixed most of the shudder though was Superpro bushes in the front end as I said.  The rubber ones flex too much during braking (heavy car) and it allows things to wobble around.

Changing pads and rotors won't help much if the rubber is worn out and allowing the free play.  Also during heavy braking with sloppy bushes the wheels will toe outwards, which chews up the insides of the tyres.

Sorry to open up old thread but can you elaborate "front end"? Are we talking all the front bushes or just some particular bushes?
