If it is stock standard, you need to have the clutch engaged(press your foot all the way to the foot well) and in first gear at a stand still. Then rev the car to either 3000rpm or 3500rpm, can't remember which one. it will sound like it is misfiring, but it is not, this is the so called launch control at work. when ready, dump the clutch and hold the revs at 3000/3500 until you feel that the car has taken off without stalling, then floor it. That's exactly what I thought and have tried numerous times. Even followed the instructions in the owners manual lol. Still doesn't want to do it so now I'm wondering if someone has tampered with the ecu or something before me. Got no problems with just launching it myself anyway just a lil disappointed that it's not there haha. Also has me wondering what else has been played with though.
