If your car had lived that long I'd say keep doing what you are doing.

Yeah man this oil topic is a sh*t show

I wouldnt go thinner than say a 5w30 (which I run at 440rwkw at 175000) or thicker than a 10w60 but only if you track your car id go an oil that thick

Im a fan of syn especially esters

Ester based oils are good.

I use Amsoil AMO10W40 which is PAO/Ester based full synthetic.

Car has 476rwks, it is raced often and it's used as my daily (600klms a week)

I run it on eflex which is e70 and have tested the oil a couple of times after 10,000klms of use.

The oil has passed the tests every time.

I hear coconut oil is the best but have to leave your engine running 24/7 to keep the oil a liquid. Cheers
