I dunno if you know but you know how the windage tray is spot weld to those 2 thicker parts? Well I drilled them off and just used the thin part of the tray.. and just wound the studs up a few turns.

From memory, 6 mm ball bearings are meant to be inserted....

 I called Brad (Atomic) when I installed my studs, as they wouldn't bottom. He told me that I needed to install 6 mm ball bearings into the block, so that they would. happen.  Not bottoming the studs may lead to inaccurate tensioning.
