G'day.

Just asking for a friend who's going to sell there BF because they need a dual cab ute to carry kids  canoe and bikes off the beaten track.

It has about 212000kms. Drives good, good tyres. The hood linning just beginning to come out near the edge of the windscreen.  Body couple dents due to kids and push bikes.

Located Forbes, NSW.

Wants to know how much to put on it or is there any members who may wish to buy it.

Many Thanks Hywayman.

Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay :P

Look on gumtree/carsales and find similar cars....I think your mate will not like the news though....average/higher km cars and you have to practically give it away

212,000kms guys.....be realistic...most people will not even look at cars over 100,000kms let alone 200K.  And its NSW....most cars are cheaper over that side.

It will need to be cheap AF to even tickle peoples interest....full service history too?

I think 5-6k will be the selling price....obviously advertise for 8-9k ONO

Thanks for all the replies. It has been helpful.

I  did look on Gumtree as suggested and was surprised to see that there so many out there. I was hoping that one of the club members would jump at the chance to buy it.

Anyway Again Many Thanks,

 Hywayman

We've already got ours :)

Mine's got 295,000km and runs fairly well.  Slow oil drip and exhaust leak I need to fix once house is built.

No point selling it even if I wanted to, get SFA for it.  My fancy orange Brembos would be like 1/3 the value of the whole car hahahahahaha

Haha my 98 EL XR6 I've had for about 12 years. Wife is driving it but we'll upgrade to a soccer mum car in the next year or so.

I'm pretty attached to it and would hardly fetch a buck if I sold it. Reckon I'm better of keeping it for some project. Probably would always regret it if I sold it.

It's becoming quite a conversation starter at servos and shops too. At least, more so than my lighting strike BA!

Steve that would be a forum record for sure. Pics when she rolls over to 300 000kms

Then go run an 11 sec pass and spam the poo out of the Expensive Daewoo forums ftw.

She deserves a good retirement pressie

No retirement plans here!  Just get the engine and exhaust sorted then continue driving the hell out of it

Got a low 12.123@115.97mph with the leak and very oily intercooler so once that's fixed up I'll be back there for another 11 :)

Just noticed my sig is gone on the new forum, but my PB was 11.949 @ 120.80mph.

Definitely keeping an eye on the odo.  Might actually dust the engine bay for the big day...might.
