Hi all I would like to ask you all if you have come across any rough idle problems in a ba Xr6 turbo I have replace plugs coils oxy sensor and I still have the problem every time I changed those parts it ran ok for about a day then it would come back I also have a bit of powers loss it doesn't seem to boost as hard as I hoped I am thinking about replacing the turbo intercooler piping but I don't know for sure there is a boost leak or an issue with the piping to begin with I would like to know if there is a way that I can test for a boost leak thanks and look forward to your response

Welcome to the forum. We hope you enjoy your time on the forum.

I think you might not get a reply any time soon, as we tend to fear those the sign up to the forum and post once.

When they get the answer that they after, they tend to run and never to be seen again.

We normally advise new member to use the search function at the top right to find the answers you want, as these sort of questions have been asked previously.

Search and yee shall find.

Hopefully someone with the know how will reply soon. This post is a bump for your thread as well. :)

Have you got a boost gauge and if so have the typical readings changed? Or if you have an obd Bluetooth adaptor and the Torque app (both are cheap if you don't) you can get boost pressure from the ECU and then let us know.

Is the car stock or if not what mods?

I'm guessing it would be hard to pressure test the intake system for leaks without some sort of special equipment. But that's getting beyond my level of expertise.

I'd check all of the clamps before doing too much though, if you haven't already.
