I am assuming the front brakes size was a typo...Was gunna say WTF is this 355mm setup that isn't brembos :P supposed to be 325mm I think.

Also +1 for tuner (assume Rob cause PW cooler?).....who installed the independent motorsport diff hat and cost?

OP did you get a 98 tune as well? Would be interested to know how much power the venom catpipe can support....cause thought full exhaust was needed when upgrading turbo...I.e. 350+rwkw

Also car looks good mate.....just needs suspension mods now ;)

No, it's not a typo, they are 355mm T3 front rotors with PBR 'C6' calipers. Race Brakes Sydney sell the kit.

BPT Motorsport tuned it with Sniper, I've continued on from there with my own software.

BPT Motorsport fitted the GTX3582R and diff hat. Diff hat fitment and Truetrac install was around $1400 plus parts (diff hat and truetrac).

There is more noise noticeable with the diff hat, but I believe that it caused by the noise of the truetrac. To be honest, I can't hear it anymore, I'm used to it.

hmmm.....never knew that existed. I thought there was only the 325mm PBR setup (like the ones from BA days). Wish I knew about this back when I did the upgraded rears (already rebuilt the fronts so CBF changing again lol).

cheers for the info on the install price.

Interesting you went with BPT.....heard a few terrible stories from those blokes lol like lunching gearboxes with only 500kms on them and just average tunes.....but never really understood cause thought that dude was tuning cars for years (cant remember his name...John or Barry I think?).

At least you wont have to worry about the diff bushes for pretty much ever. Man that is another G6ET ill have to keep my eyes out for ;)

The 355mm rotors and the C6 calipers allow a decent brake upgrade whilst still retaining the factory wheels. I'm running DS2500 pads front and rear with braided lines as well - the braking performance is exceptional and more than adequate for spirited driving.

I guess every performance shop has customers that went elsewhere and were unsatisfied with the work from the previous shop. One place I dealt with in the past wouldn't issue a tax invoice....WTF?

Barry has always provided excellent support for the Sniper tuning software I use hence why I went to BPT. Terry tuned it initially but I've since installed a Innovate MT-X wideband and do my own tuning. E85 and 98 octane tuning is easy once you know what to do lol

Look forward to catching up some time and chewing the fat.

so besides changing the dump pipe and the cat, everything else in the exhaust is standard?

I am in the same boat as Peter, that the stock exhaust was a restriction.

I have the venom cat in my car, but still have the stock dump and cat back.

Which northern suburbs are you in? anywhere near Beechboro/Malaga?

Yes, the cat back is stock.

I've replaced the dump pipe and cat, will be getting the Venom cat back when George gets the parts.

I'm in Ellenbrook area.
