Over the coming days, we are investigating another way to fit a TH400's to a Barra. This will involve modifications to a BTR bellhousing. Consideration has also been given to devloping a new billet flex plate, to handle big power.. These modifications will allow use to use a Chev style converter, which will be far easier and cheaper to source. We are hoping to have one in a test mule in the next few weeks. I will keep you all posted on our progress....

Sorry. I have been a bit busy of late.

The bell housing and box were completed and installed into a 670 Bhp turbo wagon. The turbo was replaced at the same time due to a failure. The car went to Dave Sheehy in Mackay and only managed 3 power runs before the turbo failed again. The car managed 580 rwhp with 1835 nm of torque and it was still a way off being maxed out. The only down side that we had (Besides the turbo failure), was that the stall flared a bit ore than we anticipated. The box and bellhousing worked fine.

The wagon has now been been gutted and the combo is being transplanted into Kent battle's old ute. The stall has been sent away and  much bigger turbo is being fitted to the engine. Watch this space, as there will be some good times coming out of this car....
