Hey all, has anyone put the fg exhaust manifold on the ba/f? Power gains? Did the ba/f heat shield still fit? Can you bolt the ba/f dump straight back up without modding anything from front to back? Sorry if it's been asked before but couldn't find info as I'm a forum noob. Cheers

- yes

- not able to give back to back answer

- used FG shield but maybe could modify BA BF one ?

- need to run FG dump as BA BF fouls on block (it's longer)

FG drain lines would be mint.

Supply lines are larger diameter so braided lines for supply makes it easier

Turbo position is between 3/4 cyl - Ba BF is between 2/3 cyl

So piping may have to be stretched

Peppy flow tested them and found that there was only 5cfm difference between b series and fg inlet manifolds the win going to fg. The real difference is runner length and at a guess probably better distribution, oh and pipe work that actually makes sense.....

It still not to late to make the change, is it not?

No it's not but....

Changing to an fg exhaust manifold means modifying the dump pipe aswell as the turbo sits in a different location on the f sereis.

Bit of work involved.

We're talking exhaust manifold here not inlet.

ahh gotchya. I also thought you were referring to the inlet manifold.

Well the question then would be: is it worth making the change? do you need to go that much faster before you need the role cage? :P
