I pulled the jack out and checked the connections and it seemed to be fine so I'm pretty sure its the jack itself. I had my phone plugged in playing music and wiggled the join and if it was a dodgy connection I would have expected it to start working and then stop again but nothing happened. I have since just got a fm tuner and just using that for now. It's not the best quality but it'll have to do for now, it's just a short term solution. I'm planing on getting a mkii icc and installing that. That way I can just connect through bluetooth and play it.

I was thinking about upgrading to the Parrot bluetooth for FG mk1, however reading the above replies people are able to use the 30-pin to lightning adapters with some success? I want to be able to use spotify on my phone and still make/receive calls over bluetooth. Will I be able to do both with the adapter? Otherwise, is the bluetooth kit the go? http://www.aslautomedia.com.au/falcon-fg-mki-parrot-mki9100-bluetooth-audio-strea Thanks
