Castek New Member 4 Member For: 11y 2m 15d Posted 18/01/16 09:13 PM Share Posted 18/01/16 09:13 PM Hey allPicked up an fg xr6 turbo and I've got a slight issues I can't for the life of me figure outWhen I am slowing down to a stop or even just slowing to turn, when the auto changes back down to first gear the whole car jerks forward and I get a slight clunk. If I accelerate while it is doing it, it really hits hard and bangs into gear. Driving it in manual mode if I change to first at around 20ks it's fine, anything under that speed and it'll jolt. My fg does it and there's a number of threads on the forums too. I think there's a firmware update that helps it. Also I think it can be "tuned" out via zf tuning.I believe it's a issue in the tcm. It's helped somewhat still does it occasionally. Might have to do my next service at ford to do the firmware upgrade. Drive it in manual in 2nd to a stop, then select 1st. Gone. Got a bit of work done at Autotech and got Spiro to do the ZF tune as well.
