I'm in the process of collecting gear for my FG ute prior to tuning and so far have PW Stage 1 Intercooler kit, Herrod Air Box, Crow Valve springs and Venom Cat Pipe. Wanting to keep std exhaust for now.

I'm hoping to get to about 300rwkw.

When should I get the valve springs done, along with the rest of the gear, all at once when I first get the car tuned, or is it a waste of time at this power level and I should just hold off on the valve springs and only get them done if there is problems later on if I have drama's or if I am chasing more power later on...

Also do the better valve springs allow the tuner to chase more power so get them done first up anyway?

Valve springs seem to be a 'luck of the draw' type of thing on the FG so if you're only looking at 300 atm, I wouldn't worry about them --- unless your tuner says differently or if something shows up as a problem whilst tuning

Thanks very much guys. Late reply from me, didn't expect such a quick response.

I'll let my tuner know the springs are there if he needs to use them. Maybe this approach will save some $ as well...

I can't make my mind on exhaust so that's next on list.

I had a dual manta 3" on my last car but hated how noisy it was so am still enjoying a quieter car for now.
