Hi all,

About to undertake some modifications to my brothers BF2 F6 typhoon, 6 Speed which include:

Process West Intake manifold and stage 3 intercooler,

Plazmaman CAI and battery relocation,

I have done the same modifications to my mates BF2 XR6T which also had a full X-force exhaust and high flow turbo, which made 390RWKW

The Goal for my brothers F6 is 400RWKW, I am not sure what the mechanical differences between the Turbo and the F6 are (both series 2)

Is the turbo the same trim of GT35 between xr and f6? Will it require modification to meet the goals?

Will it require the flapper mod? or will a edit be sufficient to control boost?

What size injectors will be needed to meet this goal and have headroom?

Is there an exhaust available that is quieter than the X-force that can still handle the power?

Thanks,

Turbo's are identical on all ba/bf's. The turbo on the f6 will make 400kw on 98 but will be close to its limit. If your wanting 400 on e85 then it will be sweet. It probably will require a port joby on the wastegate.

The most common and some say best injectors are id1000's, good into the 400's and fine for e85.

With the exhaust if find the twin 2.5" from xforce with the twin mufflers to be fairly quiet.

Cheers, I think my mates may have had a conservative tune, I was expecting it to break 400kw especially with the high flow,

He also had a surge tank, whats the consensus on this? will it be needed?

Pretty sure my mates x-force was single 3" or maybe 3.5", I would expect the twin system to be quieter?
