I can hear the air release it does not come out of the trumpet. It is only coming out of the vents on the side? I took the trumpet off and blew through it and it whistled. I ran the car without the trumpet and it makes the exact same noise with it on. What can cause the trumpet not to work? I have adjusted the tension and installed different springs with no luck. It can only go on one way? I unpluged the old blow off valve and the pipe closest to the firewall is where I connected it and blocked the other pipe up. Is this correct? I installed it on the end closest to the firewall. (The shorter pipe). Not the pipe that goes under the intake. Which I thought was the return pipe. Is this the correct one?? Blow off valves are only illegal if they vent the boost pressure into the atmosphere. If they are plumbed back in everything is ok.
