True, but that's moistly due to the oil filter blocking and dramatically reducing the flow, which then doesn't cool the line or the oil so it cokes. Then its a snowball effect until it blocks. A heat sleeve in that location will help, especially on cars running high boost.

Possibly partially blocked following filter removal or new lines blocking when no filter was used??? When I removed mine it had discolored but no blockage.
