second hand late FG f6 engine from wreckers.

leaves you plenty of coin to re sell and work on the house

easy swap over no down time rebuilding engines

Yeah that is true but I thnk if I do with a f6 engine I'll wanna keep it and make more power plus the misses said if we spend more coin on it we gotta keep it forever which I don't mind at all.

If minimal damage is done I'll keep it and freshen up with what it needs and put it in my ba when that engine goes and just drive xr6 turbos for the next 15 years haha

There are some brand new f6 shorts still on ebay.

If your going to strip and replace everything a cheaper option may be buying a na or taxi engine from a wrecker. The guys at northmead auto have been doing this with good results and cheaply. I think tbre do this as well.

Nothing stopping you buying a good condition BA BF non turbo engine for $150, stripping it of the parts that are broken on your current engine.

Oil pump, timing, crank, all same same
