I have heard that the pump can be prone to failure. Only problem is the coin is running out fast. Need to prioritise. Stock turbo won't push it that far. Pump gears should be fine unless you try to hurt it. To be honest I wouldnt bother with a cooler thermostat, Itll just make your car run less efficiently especially on cruise, And if its hot anyway the thermostat will open up anyway and not make a difference to temps... IC is a good idea especially in the WA summer heat the stock core gets heat soaked very quickly.
