I'm not so confident an FG cat-back would fit... with some fiddling maybe but it'd be hassle... the part I'd be worried about is going over the rear suspension.

ah of course, I remember that thread now and he said he had no issues getting around the rear suspension and rear bar etc... good job on bringing that up... that thread also says the turbo sits further back and higher up with the FG manifold, so you'll need a customized dump or cat to fit up to the new location of the cat unless you also change to an FG exhaust manifold and the associated coolant lines etc that come with that.

4 inch dump with a 5 inch cat and a 3.5 inch exhaust is plenty for big big power.

No its not.

The dump pipes are different though between ba and FG. So I would interested if the interface between catbacks is the same, at least in the xforce range.

If xforce was smart they would keep the flange mount in the same spot to allow interchangeability

I guess you may be thinking in different terms to me, then... big big might be around the 500rwkw mark and 3.5" will easily flow that far. 1000kW it's probably not going to be enough haha
