Got bored last weekend and painted everything black in the front end so it doesn't stand out so much.

Got manual shifter surround so modified a few things and made it fit. Looks heaps better.

Na not yet. I'm holding off for a little while. Hopefully at the end of the year I'll get a new turbo, go external gate and new exhaust.
I think I've decided on a turbo, S300SXE 91/80 with 1.00ar rear housing.

both of them are in compromised positions, but of course you're right that the coolant line is more in a risky position for heat purposes.
