Are you having a lot of tramp issues?

My ute has only ever tramped once and that was on the strip.

It only banged about four times before I got out of it.

But it was enough to bend both axles.

What about a set of old school slapper bars?

There must be some street cred in those surely.

I used to run a single bar on a Mazda RX4 with a 600 holley and nitrous back in the day.

People would ask why only one bar and I would explain that it was all about balancing the amount of torsional stress between the two sides and right side had more twisting stress than the left and some other stuff I've forgotten.

It was really because I only had one laying around.

Did the job though.

The diff will turn upwards when it tramps. If you don't have any tramp now I wouldn't bother until you get the new motor in. As others have said mals kit is the best in terms of keeping ground clearance.

Yeah. When tramping, the nose of the diff rotates upwards before the sprimg tension releases and then winds up again.

I also would recommend that you don't spend the money unless you need to.
