Anyone know the A/R and wheel sizes of both the turbine and compressor of the GT40 on the XR6T.

Is the A/R for the turbine the same for both auto and manual.

Whats limiting power on the Turbo, compressor flow or turbine restriction.

Compressor flow is limiting power production, although this is a very large turbocharger for a factory car :)

The main issue with the turbo seems to be controlling boost when you get above about 11psi. The wastegate does not flow enough air which requires machining and fitment of a larger flapper valve.

Maybe both a high-flow compressor and external wastegate may be a viable option moving foward, for a good power boost but not losing drivability. But most of us are still well within the limits of the stock turbo.

I didn't think there was any difference between the turbos in the auto & manual.

Both the compressor and turbine flow is maxed out at 650 HP. We will have a drop in 800 HP ball bearing turbo charger by mid year combined with a sports exhaust manifold to suit the xr6t falcon. :finger:

Will be able to give you more details on power, torque and boost curves in approx 6 weeks when we have completed engine dynamometer testing.
