Hi guys

My fg xr6t has a few mods. Cai. 1000cc injectors. Nizpro big cooler. Upgraded valve springs. Tuned obviously. I still run the standard turbo and stock exhaust. I was looking at a 6262bb turbo with 6 boost manifold. Ext gate + mantra 4" dump to twin cats to twin 3" cat back from mantra. I know top end will be good. But what will the spool time be like? E85 is on the cards to. Would it be cheaper in the long rung to convert to e85 first due to the fuel delivery system?? Will be buying in 2 weeks either turbo and exhaust or e85 setup

Thanks guys

Or being ext waste gate do you have a different exhaust set up?? I know the 6466 and 6235 turbos bolt straight on. Would that be a better option? I like the punch of the standard small turbo but doesmt have the top end im just trying to find out a good compromise

Dont think you need a 6boost manifold with an fg and that turbo. That was the advice Kyle gave me as the fg exhaust manifold wont be a limit for the turbo.

The standard internally gated exhaust housing is also enough for quick spool and to control boost.

If your looking at retaining the low end spool on the street then I would go a 6235 over a GTX3582R, if you want even more low end spool then a GTX3576R will be better but it wont make the power the 6235/GTX3582R will up top.

At the drags it doesn't make much difference as your stalling it up anyway.
