200,000 mine was done and had skipped a tooth so I'd say get it looked at after 150,000km.

Edit - I got chain, tensioner, new guide as mine had broken (common issue) and a tone wheel (sprocket).

PS I own a BF but it was done as part of a valve springs job (that's how they found the timing was off) and it was just an all up cost job so can't tell you the breakdown sorry.  IIRC valve springs were 900 installed, I got a retune for 500 but no idea what the total was, annoyingly enough.  Was a few years back...almost at 300,000km now.  A stock chain etc was put in.

approx $800 for springs fitted. Tune fiddle should be for nix IMO given the margin.

Now, I had a tranny flush, new steel pan fluids 25ks ago. Odd spurt is all it has done,

No drags, skids ( sorta)

Quote....

Replace Tranny cooler, replace fluids $1095

90000k service $700.00

Diff oil flush and replace $150.00

Brake flush $90.00

Cooling system, flush and replace fluids $ 189.00

Replace BF fuel tank with FG and intank set up ( KPM V 044 w/ surge ) +$2500

Retune $795

Total quote $ 5500 on a well loved and maintained 2007 bf Phoon

Add all round rotors and pads + $2000 ( retail installed)

$7500k

full set of diff bushes done, same with tranny and engine mounts.

A few minor annoyances in the front end. Bearings, bushes etc.perhaps ?

Some more. Tyres , rego , insurance well north of $ 10k this year if I take it to a "shop"

Hire some stands and burr the knuckles chaps

Adds up quick eh!

Once the house is built I need to get a slow oil drip fixed.  Combo timing cover and sump gasket from what I'm told.  Plus medium exhaust leak from turbo.  Enough work to cost a pretty penny.

Exactly.  Image if you owned half a dozen cars or more.  Then what about all the motorbikes.
