Hey everyone after pouring over gumtree and carsales and not really finding what I'm looking for I figured I would check here! I am looking for an XR6 turbo ute preferably modded. I was supposed to go look at one today that I found that was perfect. 2003 xr6t for 13k ono Fully built motor girdled and studded fully forged internals built to handle 30 psi but currently tuned to run 19 making 500 at the wheels built T56 tranny and built rear end and it was a great price but just as I go to look at it guy tells me its sold :( so here I am. If anyone knows of anything please let me know! Also I'm in WA but would consider cars from out of stae cheers

:Welcome2FordXR6t:

Its great you know what you want but as you know it will be very hard to find one with all your wants.

I think you might need to find one with one or two things on your list that you're happy with then add the rest later. EG rear end.

I would stay in your state only because transferring one over might be hard because its modded.

Good luck and hope you find what you're after.

^^^good advice

Transfering rego interstate can be a nightmare with mods.

Unless your patient finding a modded one can be a pain. Again saftey cert issues so most go back to stock. Not to mention a seller is usually better off selling go fast bits separately.

Its a buyers market at the moment mate, perhaps picking up a clean example at a great price would expand your options, otherwise be patient and check your saved searches daily.

Lots of modified utes here but nobody selling that I have heard.

Not worth selling at this point. My car is insured for 32k but market dictates that I would most probably only get 22-24k for it.

why sell if I am gonna lose money? Ohh and I got a sedan and not a ute.

I am sure that Phil is having enough trouble getting his ute over the pits, that he might give up and try and sell it.

Keep hounding Phil. :P
