Hey guys,

I just bought a set of brembo 4 pot and pbr rears, came with standard rotors and pads. I've heard the standard pads are really really dusty, what pad do you recommend with the standard rotor still?

Looking for minimal dust with good performance.

Cheers

Keelan

Talk with Matt at Race Brakes Sydney.

I use Hawk Performance ceramic pads. They are generally the least dustiest pads.

However, brake pads are like sports teams. Everyone has their own favourite that they reckon is the best.

I think Krazy Kyle ran EBC reds and wasn't a fan after a track day. I noticed when I drove his ute with 6 pot fronts they were shuddering. He said it happened on the track day. Can't recall if he has DBA rotors or stock though... Some combinations of pads, rotors and driving style are no good.

Reds arnt the best when you beat the brakes. Not many pads perform well with little dust. It's a trade off. Just wash your wheels more often

I like hpx for fast street. Track = QFM Z 8000

QFM HPX were good to me for street duties back on the XR6T brakes. Currently on Remsas (used on stock Brembo rotors and now DBA Club Spec T3), recommend both as decent street pads. Dusty but work well. Next up going to give these Project Mu NS400's a go.
