In answer to your other question, yes, a buggered centre bearing can create extra pressure on the diff to tailshaft joint which is one of the causes of the clunk in the rear.

I'm a bit confused here 

 

 

I've got the same issues expect my tail shaft seems all sweet both cvs have 1 or 2mm play

 

Centre bearing is all sweet it's orginal 300k old but sweet 

 

It sounds as if its a noisy cv or clutch packs in the diff but only doss it taking off up a hill till 10km or so a clicking noise

 

Turning doesn't change it to much
