Hi guys have recently had territory turbo tuned to 98 then stupidly without checking tried E85. Car wouldn't run properly next day. Now I have drained fuel, car will start but has no throttle and will only run for few seconds. Is this a type of limp mode ? please any advice would be appreciated

This is starting to get a bit common around the country..... and not only with tuned Fords

A lady were I live put E85 in her vx v6 the other day -- just to try it.

Not sure what the outcome was but the car was not running very well when she got it to one of the local mechanics by all accounts

I drove for about 5 mins to get home then in the morning car ran on the spot but real rough , not drive able , so I emptied and filled with 98. Will start and idle for few seconds then dies . I have Walbro 460, 725 Bosch injectors, Turbosmart Fuel reg and rail adaptor. Fuel pressure originally was set at 58.5 no vac but now is under 20

As E85 will clean all the crap out of (almost) anything in the fuel system, my first look would be at the fuel filter which may account for your lack of pressure....The filter may be blocked with all the stuff from the tank

Bendoco speaks the truth. Other thing would be a failed filter, ie the element getting damaged (which is why k believe there are ethanol specific filters available?)

The tune compensation could be way out too due to the fact you need about 35% more ethanol to get stoach tune. And could also be a poisoned o2 sensor as well
