If a rubber hose on the rear splits and drops line pressure does it affect all calipers or are they independently pressurised by that block that all the lines run through?

I've got braided all around anyway, but would be good to know.

Olden days legendary car in WA (Phil Watson I think, orange BF F6) backed into the wall at the Barbagallo track thanks to a burst rubber brake line, written off IIRC. He asked me if mine were braided in person at Racewars this year when he was taking me for a spin in his massive power XY GS. Thing chopped me in a head to head, got out of the hole way better. Sounded mint too and did a great powerskid.

Yeah brake fluid all over the tyre ect is going to make for a hairy ride. Would like to know if one split hose means a total loss of brakes or if its split front and rear.

Foot brake is Split front and rear.

But newer cars with DSC can brake individual wheels

If you blow a rear line, you will lose half your brake pedal and then pull pretty much normally

If you lose a front line, same again half the pedal will disappear, and it will feel like your pulling the handbrake up when you go for the brake
