Cost just under $11k installed so not too bad I suppose. It'll more than pay for itself at this point in time which wasn't the case a year or two ago. I'll put up some numbers next year when it's all said and done.

Got it 90% done, but fck it was hard work. Pay someone to do it. If my roof skillioned the other way, it may not of been so bad as the middle beam was 10m long and 2 of us couldn't lift it. Plus the roller door was 170kg. Scissor lift is a must.

I swapped a wall unit aircon out a while back and the farker was 70kg. I literally used my engine crane to chuck it in 😅

House builds really test the patience Jealous of you barra owners watching prices go up lol Mine would have rusted away by now lol

The house design we are likely going for will give me room at the back for a workshop. Nothing big enough for a car, but plenty big enough for electronics stuff, hoping to finally have a place to work on car lighting. Looking at potentially a 3.5x4m shed. I don't want to contact any local places until our design has been finalised so I know what size shed I can order. Other option is to play around with the house design to extend the garage and have a workshop in the garage - all depends on which option is cheaper 😋
