Oh yeah Wilko looks great mate. Very jealous of you both moving way faster than me. It's been 7 months now for us, just want to move in.

Wilko colourbond roof is extra? Our last house was a kit home and we went colourbond and they worked it our to be cheaper because we didnt need storm clips and got some money back.

I wouldn't have any other roof, colourbond is great.

Yeah colourbond on ours as well, just white to aid in summer cooling.  Was included in the deal already though.

Yeah I'm not envying you Pixy with that long build time.  Stick it out and you should have an awesome place at the end of it all and you can put your feet up... Though that's all lies anyway, always something that needs doing on a house from what I hear. :)

Funny bugger Steve.........LOL I think at least another 2 months before moving in. You are right you will be always doing something for many years to come.

Old place took me 10 years to get it where I wanted it and the following year we sold up.

New place haves heaps to do once we move in, Lawns, Gardens, more retaining walls, concrete comes to minds now but im sure there will be sh1t loads more.

Yeah not sure why but costs a heap more in Victoria, using the mainstream builders at least

Should be cheaper as it needs less timber work to support the weight, who knows

And yeah plenty of work turning the mud pit around the house into a garden

Yesterday My mate and I fitted the Attic Ladder and added flooring to the storage space.

Very happy with the out come and had to be done. I would have been stupid to leave that area wasted space is now good storage area.

With a little bit of modifying for the opening the job went smoothly.

Looks like it's already had a few bodies stored in it!

Yeah it doesn't look the best up there ATM but I'm sure over time it will get the better of me and I'll end up plastering the sides up.

My daughter has claimed the area already as her cubby house.
