Here's a quick pic showing 30m of both styles of cable ready to go with plugs, from our wholesaler.  Pro cablers would get better prices I imagine.

~$120 a box for cat6 (molex)

~$70 for 10 krone cat6 FMK mechs

~$2-5 each for wallplates (clipsal,etc)

wouldn't use a pre terminated patch lead in a permanent installation, you'll find things like HDMI-catX convertors might not work over that distance on what is likely to be stranded core wire. You'll have a better quality connection if you have proper terminations on each end.

Those stranded core patch leads are good for steveR jobs though where plenty of bending and flexing will happen with the cable though hahahahahahahha!

Part 2. ALL the data guys will say get a data guy, but a decent electrician should have no issue running in data cable correctly. not setting up a server room running 50 computers.... I might be a little bias as im industrial background and have had a bit to do with data/fibre networks.

I understand what you're saying man as there are plenty of quality electricians out there. But since I've dived into residential I find some people think terminating a data cable is the same as terminating a GPO. I charge pretty much the same rate as an electrician and get away with it too.

Pics of housemate

She's not bad, I thought.  Was intercepting her wifi traffic for a while and enjoying her private cam shows without having to tip like the chat room suckers.  Spewing her wifi card died.

Im yet to speak to our electrician about anything so when the time comes I'll be more knowledgeable and can ask the right question.

Ask him if he has a selection of button cameras that will fit in the bathroom air vents and see what his reaction is.  Film said reaction on your lapel button camera.
