Bath now at correct height after we spotted it a brick too low on Tuesday!  They had to redo taps also.

Fkd if I know.  It all goes into the cement anyway so I guess it leaks slowly in there.  What other methods of support are there?  Missus mentioned sand before they were actually in.

The "vanity" basin plans show a tiled hob under there so it won't look free floating once it's done, just set a bit back under the doors.

Some bad news today, heavy rains came through and looks like we are lacking drainage in a couple areas around the garage...will post more once I hear back from the builder on the pics I sent them.  Not putting up with water flowing backwards into eaves.  Found this stuff which might be the go for those freak storms (this was massive rain that almost flooded the house we are in right now, ate away driveways, floated wine bottles down the road etc).

Kitchen bench top is on!

This would have been ideal

But we will have to settle for this... OCD is burning...will have to put a pot plant there or something.  I'd have thought putting it on the other end would be better, not right at the sink...?

Oh well, will be fully sick anyway.  We also have a breakfast bar which we forgot about :)

Yeah I was focused on it right away...I'm wondering how I can fill it in to hide it.  Some sort of shiny look alike filler stuff is needed.

A good client of ours is a cabinet maker who also owns a stone shop...might see what they think can be done.

You reckon they'd give?  It's pretty insane IMHO but the other half isn't worried about it.  She claims I won't even be at the sink, but the deal is she cooks, I clean.  Not everything fits in the dishwasher hahaha
