we have a 50" samsung plasma in our second living area... imo still is better looking and better picture than some of the new TVs... and its prettier on the wall.... had it well over 5 years... its darn heavy though lol

make the most of the plasmas while you still have them, nobody makes them anymore.

I agree about the picture quality Fluff

My update We have moved indoors. We have done the electrical rough in, security rough in and Air con rough in. We also had the remaining glass installed. I did a waalk through the other day and took heaps of photo's of the internal walls so I have reference where I can and can not to drill.

Still having on going issues with the builder not fitting the pool pressure plumbing that he took out and now wont refit. Anyway that cant be done when his on holidays in Spain Ibiza it shows he care about his clients.

Still have some work on the outside to be completed, painting staining of the timber and a very good clean but here are pics below.

Thanks mate it sure has but sadly it's not over yet. I wont be happy until I get the keys in my hands.

I'll be getting a independent inspection done to go over everything and lawyers to finalize paper work for any problems we might get form the collapsed wall.

We've had the independent inspection done and they picked up loads of things, best $480 I've spent on the house!  I'll have an update next week some time.

Housing is looking great pixy!

Polished concrete will be awesome as well, it will all be worth it once it's done!

Stever I was on the fence about an independent inspection, but now I might look into it

We are having a quick walk through with the supervisor tomorrow arvo, so hopefully we find out a completion date

if you miss something, and the supervisor doesn't mention it, they get away with it.

always good to bring a 3rd party in to have another look over for you.

Especially because I have NFI what they can get away with.

Example, unpainted top and bottom edge of doors.  Basically sprayed the visible surfaces only, rough wood on top still.  Can't do that under the Aus building code and is a corner commonly cut.  Mop a floor and water can get into the bottom.  I've hung clothes over a door briefly and had splinters come away embedded in the fabric.  Don't want that in a house I paid for myself!
