Question where's the fridge going? @Wilko16 Holly jeepers mate the house is going up fast. The wife looks excited and so she should..........YA!! I had some work done but not know where you guys have. The frames should be coming next week. Retaining wall at front of house. They removed the scaf from inside the garage Now for the weird sh*t. Photos below show workers chipping away at the alfresco slab because the builder tells my it's to big. WTF!! It's the alfresco area, dont get it. So what if there is a little extra concrete we only have 3 posts holding the roof up. Just dont get it plus the extra cost to them.

Only 9 days ago the slab was down that's amazing. Harder workers in VIC.Lucky bugger. We started in NOV 2ns last year. On a standard build ... eg ones with the difficulties yours doesnt... that's not unusual at all... My first build was up in weeks nearly done.... its getting the slab laid that takes time.... council... booking it in.blah blah... then once that's done theoretically it could all be done in such minimal time its not funny.... Custum build is harder... because custom problems come up... modifying plans is easy compared to custom build... but your house is gonna be something different and extraordinary so it takes longer... Learnt so much the last few weeks at tafe which rang bells of you guys constructions.... also learnt that as a general pix your house doesnt meet the code here in sa from my understanding.... in terms of your excavation and your neighbours slab and the procedures they went about it.... probably meets code where u area is (sa is ghey and dont quote me coz my understanding isnt like amazeballs) as such there may be so much behind the scenes in getting appproval from engineers etc to make it happen... which isnt uncommon in custom builds) im guessing... either way looks like its gonna pay off...WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!! looks sik!!!! Excited to see more updates! Edited 24/03/16 08:41 AM by Princess Whinginator

First Home age 24. It didnt look like that. That took over 10 years for that look. Great stuff Fluffy I think it's a alright industry but a very tough one (cut throat) and lots of money to be made.
