Wife was nagging me about the planter box in the front yard, we concreted about a year ago and I've been to lazy to plant anything.

Well yesterday I had a day off and she started again so................

Went to the Brother-inlaws and hacked some of his plants without telling him (don't worry I sent him a pic of my planter box once I was done...lol)

WHS^

exciting to finally get all the concrete done Pixy.

you'll be picking out fixtures before you know it!!!

We pick everything about 10 moths ago. I think we might need to go back and re-pick. New styles.

I'll upload some pics soon of the finished slab.

Panda fire wood for next year mate. I bet the views are 10x better now.

A few pics of the finished slab. Yes a little excited that its done it gives you a little more understanding of size. I was getting worried that the alfresco area was not big enough. Next is the frames.

That whole floor is polished concrete

Where my son is standing that's the alfresco area.

My slab got poured today :-D

It's mostly square, flat and one level compared to pixy's haha

But I'm wrapped, I'm sure the frame will be up by the long weekend

What Pixy said. If you don't mind me asking, how many sq on how big a lot? Looks huge, considering the area you are building in. Congrats on the milestone. :)

They look fine, I was thinking a long the lines of directional lighting that lights up the plants.

But it might shine into the bedroom at night.
