A guy on one of my FB groups does wood racetrack outlines

Can't find a pic that isn't "lit up", but they look great when raw.

Pick the right wood/stain, size and track and it'd set it off nicely.

Some would know what it was, those who don't would just think it was some cool decor piece.

edit: above is Nurburing

Could go

or whatever your favourite track is

edit2: found it

could use Conrod and Mountain straights as shelves for "girly" crap ;)

Would look decent with the same orange fabric covering as the chairs or the same stain as the floorboards (jigsaw pieces, light, medium, dark)

That's pretty cool @Rab Would probably suit a games room more so than my living room I think.

Freedom Furniture have an in-house interior designer that you can book a free 45 minute appointment with to help give ideas etc. I'd previously been into Freedom several times looking for decorative stuff and to check out their furniture etc and one of the girls suggested I book an appointment. I wasn't originally overly keen on the idea, but I booked one anyway...actually turned out to be really helpful, she was great.

Got a bunch of decorations for both the dining table and coffee table. Having some greenery etc definitely makes a big difference. She also suggested I move the picture onto the back wall and put a mirror where the picture currently is- something I'd potentially thought, but hadn't properly figured out. They actually had a really cool mirror that she showed me and we definitely thought it'd tie everything together really nicely.

My step-dad is going to drop round after work tomorrow arvo to give me a hand mounting it as it's a big bitch of a mirror! I'll post up some photos of the end result tomorrow, but even the table decorations have made me like the chairs a whole lot more and I can now see how they're going to work overall.

Fark, there's a whole bunch of sh*t I never thought I'd say...

Haha always welcome if you're ever over this way. It's a Breville Oracle, definitely a fantastic coffee machine. It's the best of both worlds, in that it's a manual type espresso machine, but they've automated the process. Makes amazing coffee!

Currently have to wait until Saturday for Freedom to come and replace my mirror, as when I opened the box to fit the one I bought the frame had a massive split :ermm:
