Get a quote for it through the builder and compare to the amount of work after and the cost and weigh it up

I personally had the builder not do any storm water drainage at all on my lst build as it was way cheaper to get someone to do it for a cashie. Just depends on what it is and how it's laid out etc

yes yes the inside will be fully modernised Franga

and a little less country on the exterior but that pics fairly close... I want the traditional slat wood look on the outside ...

Jet is a stickler for modern things so we're meeting in the middle ....

Also the garage is hopefully having 3 bay wide and two bays deep with a mezzanine level and a loo. Well thems the plans lol

Yeah we are going slats all around but our estate is enforcing at least a 80/20 split of materials on the front facade so we are getting render around the double garage and along the base. Still looks good on plan (at least we think so).

Sounds like your future house is the massive version of ours.

You were lucky fluff. Some builders won't let you go without the storm water being done (it's alright usually if it's done at the same time though).

Anyway...... this isn't very exciting.

But I got my dishwasher installed today.

Woot woot!!

Anyone in Perth region build a small shed? Like 3x3? Not a fan of the bunnings/masters build your own ones. Seem a bit flimsy.

I see you in the same boat as me. I need a custom sized shed made for my place and I am sick and tired of looking for this unicorn.......

We are going for the same style of house Fluff, but on a far smaller scale and a few more modern touches (Estate forced).

Since this is the right thread, I figure I'll ask in here. I just realised I want a sink in my future shed/garage/workshop that I will be getting done after handover of our build. We are currently finalising plans with the builder and I was wondering if I should get the drainage/plumbing done by the builder in an effort to save money in case it's a bitch of a job after handover.

As fluff said get a quote from the builder it should only be a few hundred. Or if see the plumber onsite a slip a a cash job for him to add plumbing.

Here is a house that was shown on Grand Designs Australia a few year back. It a Hamptons Style just like the one you  guys want to build. Looks great.
