The fault in the wiring turned out to be a fried feed from the street to the house. There was visible blistering on the cable cluster.

We did replace the consumer main in the roof to the meters and upgrade the board wiring and switches at the same time for peace of mind.

The controlled load phase wasn't affected previous to the repair.  Of the other two, one phase had completely failed and the other was nearly gone.

This is our second reading since it was fixed.

There's no gas here and you can see the tariffs in my previous post. The controlled load meter is the cheap one.

You made it seem like your entire month of electricity was $13 haha. With that sort of controlled load, it's significantly cheaper as you can see in that copypasta.

Agree
Do you have a metre attached to the unit?

Not according to these people who understood the context of the conversation.

Did lol. But yeah, sucks rather hard! To replace the current 135L gas storage hot water system it'll be like $1,200. Would that size system be enough for a family of 4? Coz I figure if I have to replace something that's going to last the next 10 years I want to make sure it's adequate for if/when there's kids etc.

Bitch...

I got 300L gas Vulcan freeloader. All stainless inside 21 years and still going.  Kids still drained it. 135L will run out quick

Instantaneous sounds good

Get that or the largest storage
