I wouldn't go to dark on the bench tops. Something mid grey (concert) look will stand out well. Floor that's a hard one. A shade lighter would look ok but you need the bench top to have that wow factor. Also nothing wrong with white on white kitchen with a dark-ish grey floor tile. Really stoked with how the master bedroom has turned out!Need to add some colour back into the main living area now with some more pictures etc. Given the old curtains actually worked really well from a sound dampening perspective (there's much more echo since removing them) I'm planning on getting some decorative sound deadening tiles to stick on the walls.
