ours look good on the swatch, then when I did a test patch on the wall. but once I did the 2nd coat on the whole house became blueish, and now cold. our carpets were grey now look brown. so all the colours arnt working fml. and paint is very expensive as you know.

Stripes.... ^^^^ what did I say ey ;)

It's the kitchen colour scheme out of the block but with a window splash back...

It has a whole bench at the back with 900 cooktop and oven only and over head cupboards so basically a 4.5m span of stone benchtop under a 4.5m window and then some overhead cupboards.

Then a 3.5m island bench with a recessed single sink at one end to create the working triangle.

Then a

that's right I remember now, im thinking white kitchen, dark grey top, marble look splash back, which is a one piece tile not real mayble im not that rich.

then light grey gloss porcelain tiles through out the house.

then re thinking new wall paint, and possibly painting over the new paint I have. no longer like the grey blue look it has fml what a waste of money. fuuk

wow some many projects going..............love it!!

@Ford Freak some nice ideas. I wouldn't go to dark on the bench tops. Something mid grey (concert) look will stand out well.

Floor that's a hard one. A shade lighter would look ok but you need the bench top to have that wow factor.

Also nothing wrong with white on white kitchen with a dark-ish grey floor tile. Add some timber as a feature

Good luck mate the hardest part of any reno/new build.

Blinds got fitted today. Really stoked with how the master bedroom has turned out!

Need to add some colour back into the main living area now with some more pictures etc. Given the old curtains actually worked really well from a sound dampening perspective (there's much more echo since removing them) I'm planning on getting some decorative sound deadening tiles to stick on the walls. You can even get pictures/photos etc printed on them, so plan will be to add some of those to improve the acoustics of the room and add colour back.
